Friday-July 1st

  • Registration/Antique Displays at the C.R. Elementary School (noon-8:00pm)
  • Canada Day Celebrations at Pasquia Park all day
  • CRHS School Reunion for Years 1955-1961
Saturday-July 2nd

  • Toonie Pancake Breakfast at Elk's Hall (7:30-10:00am)
  • Registration/Antique Displays at C.R. Elementary School (9:00am-4:00pm)
  • Parade downtown at noon
  • Family Day Activities
    - Main Street (1:00pm - 5:00pm) bring your lawn chair
    - Bingo at Pioneer Place (2:00pm - 4:00pm)
    - Art Show at Council Chambers Town Office (1:00pm - 5:00pm)
    - Roast Beef Supper at Community Hall (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
    - "Centennial Celebration 2005" by Canadian Revival Fellowship - silver collection (7:30pm - 8:30pm) at Main Street Under The Tent.  Sponsored by the Mennonite Church.
    - Children's rides, stage entertainment comedy (Blacksalt and Brenda Q), music, dance, crowning of the Festival Queen, food booths, afternoon tea, shady rest area and visiting tent (something for everyone)
    - Dine and Dance at the Community Hall (9:30pm - 1:30am) music supplied by Final Warning.  Admission $20.
    - Old Time Dance (8:00pm - 11:00pm) Elk's Hall, music by Carrot River Country.  Admission $8 at the door.  Lunch Supplied.

Sunday-July 3rd

  • Interdenominational Church Service at the Community Hall at 11:00am
  • Continental Brunch at the Community Hall at 12:30am  to follow (open to everyone not just Church goers)

- Saturday supper, Dine and Dance and Sunday Brunch $40
- Saturday supper and Sunday Brunch $20

Plan to attend Carrot River's Homecoming.  The committee is busy planning something for everyone with plenty of fun activities, time to visit and time to do your own thing.

It is important to prepay so numbers can be obtained for the Saturday supper, lunch at the Dine and Dance, and the Sunday Brunch (as caterers need to know)

Only those pre-paying registration fee will get a registration package but if you plan to be in town sometime during the week-end and wish to have your name on the website please feel free to notify us or put it on yourself.

Don't forget to tell your friends and relatives about the HOMECOMING, in case we missed them on our mailout.  Registration forms are available at the Town Office.  Remember you can register on the web-site and forward your fee to us by mail.  Thank-you!

The following is a list of accommodations available for the week-end:

Camping is available at Pasquia Park (bookings begin May 18, 2005)  306-768-3239 and the town is offering free non-serviced camping at the rinks in Carrot River.

Unfortunately there are limited hotel rooms in Carrot River but there are motels, hotels, cabins and camping at Nipawin, Tobin Lake, and E.B. Campbell Dam.

Carrot River Young Women's Club

The Carrot River Young Women's Club (former Kinettes) are looking for all "Past May Queens and Princesses" from 1949 to present.

The Club would like to include them all on stage during this years Queen Crowning on July 2, 2005.
